Loading... Please wait...Hollywood, California is the origin for the band Black Veil Brides. They are a glam metal band, formed in 2006, who are known for their unique appearance. Their distinct look resembles a combination of Kiss, Motely Crue, and Poison. The Black Veil Brides are comprised of six members. These include; Andrew Biersack - lead vocals and keyboards, Ashely Purdy - bass and backing vocals, Jake Pitts - lead guitar, Jinxx - guitar,violin and backing vocals, and Christian "CC" Coma - drums and percussion. They have two studio albums under their belt. The first, from 2010, is entitled: 'We Stitch These Wounds'. 'We Stitch These Wounds' sold over 10,000 copies the first week ranking it #36 on the Billboard Top 200 and #1 on the Billboard Independent chart. In 2011 they recored their second album, 'Set the World on Fire'. Their song entitled, "Set the World on Fire", was originally planned for use in the movie Scream 4. However it was featured in the Transformers: Dark of the Moon movie instead. The Black Veil Brides third album is scheduled to drop at the end of 2012. In 2011 the Black Veil Brides were nominated for MTV's Favorite Breakthrough Band. John Kirkpatrick, chief music officer at Hot Topic, told Lava Records president, Jason Flom, about the impressive Black Veil Brides t shirt sales at their stores. Flom listened to the band, met them, and decided he wanted to sign them. The rest is history. They are currently on a world wide tour with the likes of like Motley Crue, Megadeth, Ozzy Osbourne, Motorhead, Slayer, The Offspring, and Metallica.
