Coheed And Cambria

Formed in 1995, in Nyack, New York, Coheed and Cambria merge progressive rock, puck rock, heavy metal, and post hardcore metal into an American rock band. Coheed and Cambria are unique to say the least. They have released five studio albums, three live albums, and a couple special edition releases. What makes them so unique is that all their albums tell a science fiction story. The stories are called "The Armory Wars." All were written by Claudio Sanchez, who happens to be the lead singer. These stories have also be released as a full novel and also a comic book series. Another unique quality of the band is there 'Neverender' concert. This concert was a four day event that took place in New York, Chicago and London. This concert series consists of all their studio albums played in their entirety. This was the lineup: Night One: The Second Stage Turbine Blade, Night Two: In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3, Night Three: Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness, and Night Four: Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume Two: No World For Tomorrow. On February 26, 2009, a live exclusive EP, Neverender 12%, was released only at Hot Topic stores.  Coheed and Cambria current members are: Sanchez (lead vocals, keyboards, thermion, synthesizer), Travis Stever (guitar, lap steel, backing vocals, synthesizer), Michael Todd (bass and backing vocals), and Chris Pennie (drums and percussion).  Coheed and Cambria announced in January of 2012, that they are working on their sixth studio album.
