Kid Cudi

Kid Cudi, Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi, was born on January 30, 1984, in Cleveland, Ohio. He is a rapper, singer, songwriter, guitarist, and actor. Cudi also can play the drums. He has been active in the music business since 2003. Today his music can be heard on hip hop, alternative hip hop, rap, rock, and electro hop radio stations. Kid gained famed with the release of this 2009 mixed taped entitled: "A Kid Named Cudi". His debut single, 'Day n Night', reached top five on the Billboard Hot 100 and also on the R&B song charts. This song came from his debut album entitled, "Man on the Moon: The End of Day". This album was released in 2009. Later this album became certified Gold. Then in 2010 Cudi release his second album entitled, "Man on the Moon: The Legend of Mr. Rager". From this CD 'Erase Me' and 'Mr. Ranger' were dropped.  Cudi has worked with many hip hop stars: Kanye West, David Guetta, and  Snoop Dogg to name a few. Cudi and Kanye West launched a record label, Dream On, in partnership with GOOD Music and Universal Motown in early 2011. Today this partnership has been dissolved due to differences between the two. Cudi twittered that he started a new record label entitled, Wicked Awesome Records, in 2011. A year passed and Cudi then decided to form a rock band called Wizard, or WZRD, with Dot da Genius. WZRD released their self debuted album early in 2012. Over the years Cudi has released a few videos directed by Shia LeBeouf. He has also starred in the HBO series, How to Make it in America, as himself. Kid Cudi has one daughter, Vada Mescudi, born in 2010.
